A Conversation Amongst Veteran Entrepreneurs on Afghanistan with Kimberly Jung and Keith Alaniz, Founders of Rumi Spice

I felt it was a appropriate time to have this discussion.

Dear Bunker,

Now the dust has settled a bit, and the reality of life after The War in Afghanistan has set in, I felt it was an appropriate time to discuss Afghanistan with the Military-Connected community.

To join me, I invited Kimberly Jung and Keith Alaniz, Founders of Rumi Spice, which brings flavorful, ethically sourced, and socially responsible spices from Afghanistan to the world. Kimberly and Keith are Army Veterans, who've led grassroots economic development in Afghanistan for the last 8 years through Rumi spice. The events that have taken place in the country have not only affected them from a psychological perspective but also an economic one, as their business model is reliant upon some of stable Afghanistan.

Kimberly and Keith open about their feelings on the official pullout of U.S. Forces, the effect it's having on their business, and how they plan to persevere despite it all. My hope is that this episode encourages you to connect with other veterans, whether at Bunker Labs, or some other organization, where can to discuss your feelings on the situation and be around others that understand what you may you're going through.
