Breaking Down the Value of Small Businesses on Communities with Reda Hicks, Co-Founder and CEO of GotSpot
I have a soft spot for small businesses
Welcome to the official newsletter of “The Transition,” brought to you by me, "IRON" Mike Steadman, A Marine Corps Veteran, Social Entrepreneur, and Member of The Bunker Labs Branding Team.
Dear Bunker,
Last week on the Transition, I featured Reda Hicks, Founder & CEO of Got Spot, a company that helps small businesses generate extra revenue by leveraging space in their office or building, for short term rentals.
Reda’s a military spouse, attorney, and entrepreneur. I actually had a chance to interview Reda in-person, at the Bunker Labs Ambassador Fly-in, down in Austin, TX. She was the first in-person interview I conducted since launching this platform! Reda and I are kindred spirits, as both of us won grants through The Street Shares Foundation, and spent the last few years passing each other in the Bunker Labs ecosystem.
On the show, Reda opens up what led her to start Got Spot, her passion for helping small businesses, and how she’s been able to navigate the challenges of the pandemic. This is a great episode, I had a ton of fun recording it.
We want to hear from you!
