Founders Journal: What The Bunker Can Learn From The Morning Brew's Podcast.

Dear Bunker,

This morning I was listening to the podcast, “Founders Journal,” hosted by Alex Lieberman, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Morning Brew, a media company committed to helping business leaders become smarter in minutes.

Founders Journal is a daily journal by Alex, where he discusses the ins and outs of his entrepreneurial journey running The Morning Brew. I stumbled across the podcast last year during the lockdown, and have been a fan ever since. Although I don’t listen to every episode, I do find myself listening to his content more and more lately. Overtime, I’ve also become a fan of Morning Brew.

Founders Journal is a Masterclass on Content Marketing and how to build brand awareness by building an audience.

Rather than record a podcast talking about how amazing The Morning Brew’s products are, Alex decided to create a brand experience around the life of a founder. By opening up and sharing his own stories, he’s educating the entrepreneurial community, while simultaneously building an audience for his company. Through the show, I’ve built a connection to Morning Brew, resulting in me consuming more of their other content, including their newsletter and podcasts.

Use your marketing platforms to deliver value to your audience in a way that’s unique to your brand.

Whether your recording a podcast, posting a blog, or starting a newsletter, create content for your audience thats authentic for you and your brand. Don’t try to mimic other companies, instead think about what insight and knowledge you bring, that your ideal audience can benefit from. Alex and his team at Morning Brew are targeting millennials, many of whom are entrepreneurial, making them the perfect fit to create entrepreneurial content.

What content ideas do you have for your brand? Let me know by leaving a comment on today’s newsletter.
