“How to Develop Your First Business Plan” with Patrick Fitzgerald, Angel Investor, Startup Advisor, and Lecturer at The Wharton School of Business
Trust me, you do not want to miss this episode!
Welcome to the official newsletter of “The Transition,” brought to you by me, "IRON" Mike Steadman, A Marine Corps Veteran, Social Entrepreneur, and Member of The Bunker Labs Branding Team.
Dear Bunker,
You do not want to miss my interview with Patrick Fitzgerald, a serial entrepreneur and professor at The Wharton School, where we discuss how to develop a business plan.
Patrick’s taught entrepreneurship to MBA’s and undergraduates for the last eleven years, in addition to launching and investing in multiple ventures. A few years ago, I came across a YouTube video of one of Patrick's entitled, “Business Planning 101.” It’s one of the best lectures I’ve heard on building a business plan. In the age of the Lean Startup and Business Model Canvas, it was refreshing to hear a modern take on business planning and why it’s still relevant today.
I finally reached out to Patrick on Linkedin and Twitter, inviting him on the show to discuss how to develop a business plan with the Transition audience. Not only did he kindly oblige, he also offered to record in-person, traveling to Newark, NJ to my podcast studio. In the following episode, Patrick takes us through his business planning framework for first time entrepreneurs and how to apply it to achieve entrepreneurial success.
