Marketing and Branding Q&A Session with Harrison Floyd, Founder of CommonWealth Holdings
Be sure to give this one a listen!
Dear Bunker,
I held a marketing and branding Q&A session with Marine Veteran and Veterans in Residence D.C. Alumni Harrison Floyd, Founder of Commonwealth Holdings, a consulting firm that helps veteran-owned small businesses and other under-represented groups, increase their footprint in the international marketplace and digital currency.
I met Harrison a few months back when he first on-boarded a part of the VIR’s D.C. cohort, and had a chance to connect with him again during the Breaking Barriers in Entrepreneurship Workshop Series, where I teach marketing and branding.
Coming fresh off the latest workshop, I thought it would be a good idea to get Harrison on the Transition to not only talk about Commonwealth Holdings and his military transition into entrepreneurship, but also answer some of his questions around marketing and branding. In particular, where he should focus the brunt of his efforts in order to drive revenue.
In early stages of a venture, it’s so easy to get pulled in multiple directions, but the one thing I’ve learned over the last few years, is the importance of focusing on the 20% of effort that drives 80% of results.
There’s tons of value in this episode, so be prepared to get some pin and paper, and take some notes!
