"Radical Focus: Achieving Your Most Important Goals with Objectives and Key Results," with Author Christina Wodtke
Time to get focused and start executing!
Welcome to the official newsletter of “The Transition,” brought to you by me, "IRON" Mike Steadman, A Marine Corps Veteran, Social Entrepreneur, and Member of The Bunker Labs Branding Team.
Dear Bunker,
As we kick off Q3, I strongly suggest you listen to my interview with Christina Wodtke, author of the book, Radical Focus: Achieving Your Most Important Goals with Objectives and Key Results.
I had a chance to hear Christina Speak last year at a Tactical Advance with the Lions Pride, one of the coaching groups I’m a part of. Although I was familiar with the OKR Process, I didn’t have a thorough understanding it before her talk. After hearing her speak and asking some questions of my own, I was intrigued and ended up reading her entire book in under forty eight hours.
As an early-stage founder, Radical Focus spoke to me and the challenge that comes with bringing a venture to life. It’s hard to focus in the early days of launching a venture, but I believe Christina’s book and the OKR framework she details in it, is the best way to go from zero to one.
There’s tons of a management systems out there, including the Four Disciplines of Execution, The Entrepreneurial Operating System, etc. But when it comes to early stage founders, I believe OKR is the best. On the show, Christina and I discuss the book and break down the OKR process, so you can implement it in your own venture.
