What To Do When You're Disorganized, Disoriented, and Dissatisfied With Your Life Feat. Dr. Paris Love, Founder of Paris Love Productivity Institute
We've all been there!
Welcome to the official newsletter of “The Transition,” brought to you by me, "IRON" Mike Steadman, A Marine Corps Veteran, Social Entrepreneur, and Member of The Bunker Labs Branding Team.
Dear Bunker,
I’ve been slacking! It’s been a few weeks since I sent a newsletter for the show. I got thrown off track due to quarterly planning, the pre-order campaign for my first book, and running all things IRONBOUND. You know how it is!
We’ve had so many amazing guests on the show the past few months, so please bare with me over the next few weeks as I catch us up.
To get things started again, checkout my interview with Dr. Paris Love, an Organizational and Productivity Coach, who specializes in helping overwhelmed professionals break through the barriers keeping them disorganized, disoriented, and dissatisfied with their life, business, and career.
Paris is the Founder and CEO of Paris Love Productivity Institute. She started her entrepreneurial Journey over 19 years ago and although I’ve had the opportunity to teach her during the Breaking Barriers in Entrepreneurship Workshop series, in reality she should’ve been teaching me with that much experience. I had a chance to interview Paris in-person at the Bunker Labs Ambassador Fly-in down in Austin, back in February.
On the show, she opens about her entrepreneurial journey and why she enjoys helping others declutter their life. Paris is a Bunker Labs OG, having participated in the VIR, Workshop Series, and now the Ambassador program, she represents the reason why Bunker Labs exists. Black Veteran Entrepreneur
I have some exciting news: for the past 5 months, I've been working on my first book, "Black Veteran Entrepreneur: Validate Your Business Model, Build Your Brand, and Step Into Your Greatness."
I wrote the book because I believe Black Veteran Entrepreneurs (BVE) represent the biggest untapped resource in America today, because when we rise up, we take our families and communities with us. When I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2016, there was no playbook specifically for BVEs. The majority of content I came across surrounding military veterans focused on the process of transitioning from active duty into civilian careers, not into entrepreneurial pursuits.
Since then, I’ve read and listened to well over 300 business books and unfortunately I can count on one hand the number of them written by black authors, let alone BVEs.
I learned in the Marines that if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem, so I wrote the book myself. The book is expected to be released in October of this year.
If you would like to pre-order a copy and/or share the good news with others, it would mean the world to me. All pre-orders will receive a signed copy of the book from me as other perks, including access to my authority community of beta readers.

We want to hear from you!
My goal is to make the Transition the #1 resource for military connected entrepreneurs. I can’t do it alone.
