What's Your Plan To Acquire Your First 100 Customers?

Dear Bunker,
I’ve noticed that many early-stage founders within our community, struggle with their go-to-market strategy, particularly mapping out and validating how they’re going to acquire their first 100 customers.
I’m curious to know what your plan is and how you’ve validated that it will work? As a reminder, in the early-stages, you want to reach profitability as soon as possible, unless you’re a venture-backed tech start-up with a long term strategy for massive growth. Either way, you need still need traction and one of the best ways to demonstrate it is by on-boarding paying clients.
I recommend you flip your sales funnel upside down and focus on selling to high-interest prospects who already know they have the problem, are actively searching for solutions to the problem, and have already spent money trying to fix it.
(If you can’t tell already, this is one of my favorite graphics)
Below is my plan to acquire my first 100 customers for my venture, IRONBOUND Media.
Launch “Dog Whistle Branding,” the official podcast for IRONBOUND Media, where I interview Service Academy founders, in order to learn about their go-to-market strategies, build relationships, and position myself as an authority in the field.
Orchestrate a consistent stream of referrals with my existing client base, by delivering consistent value and high-quality branded assets.
Seek opportunities to teach marketing, branding, and podcasting, in front of Service Academy Founders. (My perfect customers)
Share your plan below, along with any questions or topics you’d like me to cover on the podcasts, in order to assist you in executing it.
