On Thursday I released my interview with Carla Bond, Founder & CEO of UpSkill VR, a company that uses VR technology to teach CPR and other emergency response training based on teaching from paramedics, police officers, and military veterans.
Carla’s a former U.S. Navy police officer and medic, who founded Upskill VR after teaching herself the basics of virtual reality development. As a Veterans in Residence Alumni, Forbes Next 1000's Selectee, and Google For Start-Ups grant recipient, she’s the real deal, andI'm thankful to finally be able to get her on the show. We discuss what led to her founding UpSkill VR, the 50,000 mistake that almost tanked her business, and her process for transitioning from a small business into a start-up, licensing her Upskill technology to train the next generation of first responders.
